DaisyDisk Overview
DaisyDisk gives Mac users a colourful representation of their available disc space. It’s interactive, simple to use, and lets you preview your files prior to making a decision on what to delete. This is one-time payment software that you will never have to pay again.
DaisyDisk helps you visualise the space on your hard drive and can free up more disc space by deleting large, unused files.
The program scans the disk and displays it as a sector chart, where all of your files and folders are displayed at once. Click on any segment to drill down into a specific folder. Click in the middle to make bubbles appear. The diagram will appear when you move the mouse over it. You can see the path and name of each file, as well as any enclosed files. Pressing the space key will allow you to preview files without having to launch another program. Drag and drop all unwanted files to the “collector” by walking around your disc.
