Why Use Deep View on Google Maps? We can’t travel the whole world, but Google Apps makes us feel like we can. With Google Maps Immersive View on your iPhone, you can also see beautiful photos of places and landmarks you’ve always wanted to visit.
How Does Google Maps’ Immersive View Work?
Google Maps talked about Immersive View in 2022 and has been in the process of adding cities and locations ever since. By using this view you can visit any city or landmark and also look around from above. You can move the screen to see Big Ben from every angle or what it feels like to be on top of the Eiffel Tower.
You can see great views of famous places and their surrounding areas. You can also see how the place looks after that afternoon or even the next day. This helps you find the best time to visit or just enjoy the view.

There are also some places where you can take a peek inside the nearby companies. You can visit a restaurant as if you were actually there.
Also, you may have heard of or used Street View in Google Maps. This tool is helpful if you’re traveling through a city because it shows views from the perspective of someone walking down the street or path. On the other hand, the immersive view gives you the best view of a city or site from above.
What Places Have Been Added to Immersive View?
London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Tokyo were the first places to use Immersive View. As of the summer of 2023, Google stated that it would be opening in more places, such as Amsterdam, Dublin, Florence, and Venice.
Along with the places we’ve already talked about, you can also visit Prague Castle, the Sydney Harbor Bridge, and Faneuil Hall.
Soon, you’ll be able to virtually visit more than 500 places, as these and other places are added over time.

One more great thing about Immersive View is that it lets you look around inside nearby stores. You can then go inside, look around, and decide if it’s somewhere you want to see along with the city or site.
